A: Fluffy white head 2+ fingers. Really dramatic mix of small and large bubbles. Beautiful golden orange color. Decent clarity but could be a little better. Great lacing.

S: Huge citrus aroma! Smells gorgeous and I can't resist drinking. Nice caramel maltiness. Already smells well balanced. Maybe slightly piney too? Nice fruitiness.

T: Huge citrus followed by almost as big of a caramel malt. Deliciously well balanced. Nice bitterness on the finish but it's still balanced. As the beer warms alcohol becomes more present.

M: Great carbonation. Slick and light to medium body.

O: Love this beer. One of my favorite "single" IPAs. It's a bit closer to a DIPA but it's amazing. Huge citrus flavors and big caramel malts. So well balanced. I could drink this anytime. Flavors linger nicely.

Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a large snifter glass.

A: Pours a nice copper hue with a 2-finger white head that quickly dissipates into a wispy lace.

S: Strong hoppy aroma with hints of citrus and pine in the background.

T: Hoppy Hoppy brew with a solid malt background and citrus finish.

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: Excellent IPA – nice and hoppy and very enjoyable.

Wow. What a well balanced beer. Pours a nice heady lacing deep orange onto my goblet. The smell in the bottle is great. Very piney and grapefruity but th taste is even better. Can't believe how the sweet fruity taste of mango and pears jump out. What a fine example of west coast IPA. It has a wonderful medium body and the alcohol is barely discern able. Overall one of my favorite IPAs and it is no wonder they boast their awards on the cap. Cheers.

on tap at the dutch, enjoyed with friends.

pours an inviting tan/burnt orange hue, small foamy head with good retention. lacing rings the cheater pint.

nose is all pine and citrus hop along with slight hint of caramel in the background

taste is quick prickly bitterness followed but a punch of pine. washed away gently with malt and onse again light caramel.

I ended up drinking three of these (thanks coldbrewky, and Johhnyownerofthedutch). I have a headache. Enough said.
