2013 barrel aged Sucaba

A: deep cola-like appearance
S: port wine, dried fruit, notes of hot alcohol
T: raisin, almost root-beer like. The alcohol isn't nearly as hot as you might expect from a 12.5% bottle
M: a lot of carbonation helps to keep it from being too cloying

O: I have been looking forward to trying this one, and I'm glad I did. It is sweet, but not disappointingly sweet. A great example of American Barley Wine; it kept me coming back for more. Firestone Walker does not disappoint
