22 oz bottle poured into a snifter sharred with a fellow BA.
A- Pours a pitch black color, nice carbonation comes off the bottom of the glass, opaque cannot see through it, nice dark brown 1 finger head that dissipates to a thin layer around the glass. Nice lacing on the side of the glass as well.
S- Alcohol is present right away in the aroma, I can smell the oak from the barrels as well, the bourbon is not as apparent as I remembered from the first time I had it, slight vanilla notes, slight coffee presence.
T- Wow, Really impressive, well balanced, the bourbon is well balanced with the roasted coffee notes, vanilla comes out chocolate/cocoa notes, oak/wood notes from the barrels, really complex, love this beer.
M- Big mouth feel, coats the palate, smooth drinking, crisp finish, dry aftertaste.
O- World class beer, wow, I’ve had this beer before when it first came out. From hearing all the stories about FW beers not aging well I was expecting this beer to have lost some of its complexity, but the beer is still as good as the first time I had it. Very satisfying, everything I love and crave in a quality Bourbon Barrel Aged beer. Glad I have two bottles left to have on a cold winter day.

Poured my bottle of Firestone Walker Parabola 2014 into a snifter.
Appearance-Upon pouring Parabola into the snifter, I noticed the midnight black color. Extremely dark at first, but as it settled, a small amount of dark brown reddish foam stayed at the top of the pour.
Smell-Smelled a lot like the 2013 release with some additions. It had a boozy smell at first, with vanilla, bourbon, and the sweetness of chocolate.
Taste-Had a small amount of smoke. The more I drank, the more chocolate I got. A lot like the chocolate oak aged yeti but more complex.
Mouthfeel-Overall it was very smooth, not chalky like I had expected. It was a nice surprise, and very easy to drink even with the high alcohol content.
Overall-One of the best beers I've ever tasted. I have 3 more bottles of this years brew, and I'm very excited to see how this years vintage ages.
