A: Pours a super-clear, clean golden-orange with a semi-bubbly white head of foam on top. Lots of bubbles in the body. Not a lot of complexity. I don't know that I've ever seen an IPA this clean. There's not a whole lot of head, though. Above average.
S: Awesome smell. Reminds me of Sculpin. There's more citrus here than pine, but the hop smell is soooo nice. The smell is very healthy -- you can't get away from it. As soon as it's out of the bottle you get it. Also reminds me of Zombie Dust smell. Love it.
T: First thing you get is some sweet caramel malt before the hops get it. Again, a big citrus flavor. Wonderful. Easy drinking -- the alcohol does not overwhelm you. Refreshing with a slightly bitter finish. Super solid taste.
M: Perfect carbonation leads to a smooth and creamy brew. Not quite a heavy body -- more on the medium side. Very gentle on the tongue. Some nice chewiness that brings out the hops more than the alcohol. All things good with the feel of this beer.
O: This beer gets it right where it really counts. The smell and taste is one of the best out there. This beer really does remind me of Sculpin and Zombie Dust. The 9.5% abv is really not visible at all. Much more easy-drinking than you would think. I'd suggest this if you can find it fresh. The brew I'm drinking is three weeks old. Solid offering all around.
