Reviewed 4/12/13, bottled 2/18/13 22 oz bomber in snifter.
A - Pours crystal clear light copper orangeish color with a two finger fluffy white head.
S - Very pungent citrus and pine hops. Grapefruit, pine needles, herbal aromas with pine probably being the strongest.
T - Sweet malt upfront, grapefruit juice in the middle, finishes citrusy with medium bitterness. Piney after taste and present in the middle too.
M - Medium to heavy body, medium carbonation. Very drinkable for the abv.
O - Delicious DIPA, one of my favorites. I like the difference between the strong pine aroma and grapefruit flavor. Very drinkable for a big beer, not as complex as some others but it doesn't need to be.
