Pours straw gold into the tulip glass with a thick rocky head. Its absolutely crystal clear in the glass.
Smell has got a hint of pine with citrusy sweetness. Its kind of faint as compared to other examples of the style.
The first sip is bitter, delightful and a combination of grapefruit, orange peel and a touch of young growth spruce. There's a buttery thing going on here, slightly butterscotch. Diacetyl?
Mouthfeel is pleasant. Peppery finish here, very well carbonated, refreshing the palate sip after sip.
Great Beer. A great example of the style, aprt from the nose being slightly muted, this beer borders on perfection.
