Early dinner on Sunday and we took the family to the Tap House in Oswego. I tried the Firestone Double Jack. This beer came served in a sniffer and was a clear amber with white head which laced quite well. There were hints of orange peel/apricote and pine. The taste was initially dominated by the high abv hits then followed by citrus and pine. This beer had a
good body/oilyness to this beer. The flavor stays for a second then progressively comes off the pallete not leaving any bitterness. The mouthfeel is tough due to the high abv and explosion of flavor , it would be a difficult beer to session.
Serving type: on-tap
