Poured into oversized stemmed ale glass.
A- A clear golden with orange hue. A good bubbly head. The clearest IIPA i've ever seen. Decent lacing.
S- Wow, a blast of fresh sweet ripe pineapple. Soft caramel underneath. Like a tropical farmers market on a summer day.
T- Very similar to taste. Lots of ripe pineapple. A very solid caramel backbone. Hops give some bitterness that lingers. Some spice in finish. Becomes sweeter as warms.
M- Medium- big, Drying, slightly chewy. A slight resin and tingle on tongue. I would want it to be a bit more crisp.
O/D- No alc. A very good IIPA. Smell was great, taste was solid, just a little to much cloying caramel and sweetness for me. It was more on the balanced side.

This one pours a beautiful semi-cloudy rich blonde color with a luxuriant, long lived off white head that settles to damn slow to wait! It appears to be leaving a thick layer of foam with varied bubbles reminiscent of a slice of bread with lacing to match. The head is so thick you could eat it with a spoon.
The nose is a sharp citrus-pine hop that dominates the subdued malt sweetness that floats just below the surface. The nose could be stronger, although I have no idea how they would do so without altering the flavor in a negative fashion.
The taste is a near perfect example of an IPA. The bitterness is floating on the malt in near perfect balance. There are notes of pine, butter, bread and a tinge of bourbon and all in submission to the fine hopping that defines this IPA.
The mouthfeel is very rich and matches the visual of the foam head that is just not going away.
Overall this is almost a perfect IPA and a perfect example of an American IPA. I Will be drinking this one again. And I would probably be reluctant to share it so I could keep it all to myself!
