Purchased from the brewery in Paso Robles. I fell in love with this hard core Double IPA at the first taste.
A- Super light amber with a small bubble stark white head that lingers along the edges with residue in the middle creating cool images of temptation.
S- Honey, Hops, roses, and a bit of spice. A beautiful balance of malt and hops that invites you to move to the next step...the taste.
T- This lingers along the side of the tongue which is suprising. The sweet grass hops matches the malt and covers the top of the palate. The heat is a nice addition to the flavor. But, I enjoy a bit of heat with my liquid bread.
M- Full bodied and nicely matched to the color, aroma, and flavor.
D- I look at the bottle and it inspires me to a suprising level of creativity. I'm glad to have picked up a few more for myself than I normally would have, to include grabbing a couple for a buddy. Another Home Run for Firestone!!!
