Translucent golden amber - wonder how many times they filtered to get it that clear. Two fingers of head settles to leave a still thick and bubbly cap. The first inch of the glass though is ringed by biscuit-colored foamy lace.
Big citrus here on the nose - Grapefruit, Juicy Fruit gum, a bit of greenery.
A mouth monster, bringing with it a mighty hop wallop - like whole cones floating about the glass and making their way to your mouth. The hoppiness leads with fruitiness but is underscored by the greenery. Peppery to close, with a hint of alcohol.
A bit slick in the mouth - oily with some stickiness. Very juicy too, seeping into the recesses behind the teeth and tongue.
Not my favorite DIPA, but good nonetheless.
