22oz Bomber into pint glass
A – 2 finger dusty head with good staying power with decent lacing settled to a thin layer, clear golden amber with moderate carbonation 4
S – Nice scent even at arm’s length, a strong & resiny orange/mango citrus, pine, caramel malts, florals 4.5
T – The most subtle imperial IPA I’ve had, and I’m not saying that as a negative. Mellow citrus zest, moderate pine, and moderate bitterness for a double. A bit of tropical fruits. Excellent balance with a slightly sweet caramel malt profile rounds out this brew well. A bit of alcohol on the finish. 4.5
M – Medium body, a bit sticky and thicker but drinkability is not affected, enjoyed the moderate carbonation level. Would and will have another. 4
O – Quite possibly my favorite DIPA, the character is BIG and yet so sublime, a must try for any hop head. Drinkability is a notch above any double IPA I’ve had, and overall character is so enjoyable to drink. Now on my regular rotation list. 4.5
