Huge thanks to Phyl21ca for sending this beer as part of a great trade.
A: Pours a light pumpkin colour, clear with about 2 fingers of white head. Nice amount of lacing along the sides of the glass.
S: Huge floral bouquet with fresh pine. Middle notes of sweet malts and background of tropical sweetness fruit.
T: Pronounced taste of ripened stone fruits together with citrus rind and hoppy pine. Immediately followed by a wave of sweet malts. Extremely balanced. Alcohol is noticeable but enjoyable.
M: Syrupy with low carbonation.
O: Unique in the stone fruits and floral notes. The malts expertly balance out the hop characteristics. Definitely seek out.

A clear bright golden orange. Some lacing, 1 finger head. Looks good
S pine, malt and some tropical juice. smells really good. Impressive how nice this smells considering this bottle is over 4 months old
T huge huge hop bitterness then awesome pine and malt. Bitter bitter aftertaste this thing is amazing and again this baby is old. Reminds me a lot of sculpin.
M malty and low carbonation. Smooth and delicious.
O This was excellent. Epic bitterness and great IIPA flavors. I realize Firestone claims their beers are best within 120 of the born on date but I'm still impressed how well this has held up, still I'd love to try this really fresh
Bottom line: An excellent example of a west coast IIPA which apparently holds up very well over time
