Bottled 10/3/13

The beer was a cloudy burnt orange color with no sediment. The head was creamy and lasted for awhile.
The immediate smell was of tropical fruits like mango and pineapple. The pine is there but was not too pronounced. Very sweet smelling.
The taste was very sweet, pineapple, mango, and peach. Of course there was tons of hops and pine cone flavor as soon as I sipped it. I didn't get too much malt. The mouthfeel presented a slight drying effect, perhaps from the bitterness.
This was excellent. I'd drink this again and again. Not a real heavy DIPA in fact I prefer this to Union Jack due to the tropical taste and loads of hops.
