Poured from 12oz into chalice. Dated 7/29/13, so not great.

Really beautiful beer, bright and clear with sticky lace that sits on top.

Smells like the heavy hitting citrus hops, that "candy" aroma that will hit you even when the glass is resting on the table.

Taste matches, instantly made me say "wow". Really nice balance of malts, almost setting a backdrop for the onslaught of hops. Persistent flavor and slight bitter sting.

Crisp and thick.

Such a good beer, only writing this review because I was floored. Bravo Firestone.

From a 12 oz bottle into a tulip.

A: pours a pale amber color with a small head that broke down quickly.

S: Citrus/grapefruit and floral scents are present. Some faint pine.

T: Hops and more hops. There is a citrus taste and the bitterness hit up front, followed by sweet maltiness.

M: medium mouth feel and carbonation.

O: a little hoppier than I usually enjoy, but still an excellent beer. I have to say that I kept expecting it would be too much, but in the end it was just enough. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Poured from a bottle dated born on 9/27/13, into a tulip.
Appearance - golden, bubbly, looks refreshing! Builds a nice, frothy white head.
Lacing is spotted around the glass.
Smell - standard great West Coast, hop forward IPA! Citrus hops, primarily grapefruit.
Taste - delicious! Easy drinking hop bomb! Very much a hop forward brew, but just enough pale malts to keep it fairly balanced!
Feel - the 9.5% ABV is hidden nicely, the bitterness from the hops is near perfect and balanced with the hint of malt presence!
Overall - very well done, a solid representation of a West Coast DIPA! R
