A: orange in hue with a nice lightness to it. Just enough lacing to keep me happy.
S: The smell is a precursor to its amazing taste. Grapefruit, pine, touch of orange, and a malt overtone.
T: Damn tasty and brings to essence true West Coast DIPA. The great flavor notes hides the alcohol level.
M: A bit oily for me but goes down like a dream nonetheless.
O: Very happy I purchased the 22oz bomber. Quenches the DIPA thirst. Not my all time fav by no means, but a quality brew I'd buy again.

Golden amber in the glass. Modest head, pleasantly spritzy. Huge slam of hops in the aroma.
Rich malty mouthful with a sharp flavor, but mellowed by the warm malt. Lots of piney woods in this, with a mango taste. Quite bitter, but not a tongue takeover. Some orange flavors, with plenty of citrus peel.
Really a fine big DIPA, and I'm not especially an enthusiast of the style. Very spicy with loads of aromatic hops. A winey mouthfeel. Really tasty stuff. Another win for Firestone Walker.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a Half Acre tulip.
A- pours a nice clear, light caramel with a 2 finger off-white head. Big popcorn stucco white lacing remains on the glass.
S- Ahhhh! Big amounts of citrus (orange, pineapple, grapefruit), and definitely has some sweetness in there.
T- grapefruit and pineapple, followed by sweet caramel, and nice amount of bitter orange rind.
M- medium body and carbonation. Slightly oily and creamy.
O- excellent dipa. Nearly perfect amount of sweet, citrus and bitterness. Very well balanced and drinkable.
