Bottled labeled 1/3/12 enjoyed on 3/24/12.
Appearance: Pours a clear and bright gold. A nice fluffy white head recedes after a couple of minutes and the beer yields spotty lacing.
Smell: Distinctly citrus nose with some floral notes as well. Smells like I would expect a California PA to be.
Taste: Follows the nose with a crisp orange, citrus flavor. Juicy, but not overwhelming either. A strong caramel malt base balances the beer well. Bitterness is fairly light and the beer finishes off smoothly.
Mouthfeel: Super easy drinking, light and crisp. Very refreshing.
Overall: This will likely be my new go to PA because of how well it's put together. Not mind-blowing or distinct by any means, yet an all together spot on PA.
