Pours a beautiful toffee red with lovely frothy head and lacing.
Smell is very complex. Yeasty, honeycomb malts, oranges. Definitely get the oak, but it contributes not so much in terms of aromatics but more in terms of a slightly fruity, Belgian, even fusel-like note.
Taste is a carryover of subtle oak, honeycomb, oranges.
Mouthfeel is moderate- goes down creamy and easily with a bitter finish, fairly sharp and yeasty, boozy, Belgian.
Overall a nice, complex beer which drinks like it might as well have come from the Fuller's stable.

Copper color with a thin head with short retention.
Aroma of pine, caramels, biscuit malt, condiments, charred oak and licorice.
Taste follows nose. Pleasant flavor with notes of toasted malt, peppery yeast, caramel, charred oak, pine, licorice, mild herbal and tangy citrusy, English hops and green apples. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with good carbonation.
Nice American take on English bitter, tasty but still mellow. Malty but well balanced with a relatively decent amount of hops.

On draft at B&B Burger & Beer in Las Vegas.
Amber copper body with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with sweet breads and a touch of fruit. More malt than hop character. A bit too sweet for my liking. A tad syrupy. Fairly light in body with light bitterness in the finish. Mediocre.
