12 oz. bottle, with bottled on date 06/27/2013. My first beer from Firestone Walker in quite some time, and this might possibly be my first review of one of their beers.

Poured into a Firestone Walker pint glass. #properglassware.

A - Pours just under a finger of off-white suds that disappears quickly. Body is a dark golden yellow with a murky tint to it. Some bubbles floating topside.

S - The smell isn't really doing it for me. Light wheat, grass, some lemon, some grains, but there is too much bubblegum malt & cloves for my liking.

T - Taste follows the nose with pervasive bubblegum malts and clove overpowering the light grains, wheat, & lemongrass. Some orange, some grainy wet cardboard. There's a hint of funky yeast on the finish, which is nice, but I was still hoping for an earthier, grassier beer, considering this classifies itself as an "unfiltered wheat beer".

M - Feel is crisp, with a bitter & dry finish. Some clove spice lingering.

Overall, it is a highly drinkable beer, but I am just not enjoying the flavor profile. Tastes too "Belgian" to be an American pale wheat ale. It was nice to try, but I'll stick to Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer.

Bought from Little's Wine and Liquor, paired with pizza and a episode of The Wire

A&S: Lively translucent pale orange colored beer. Fizzy white head that fades very fast till there isn't even a thin layer left. Very yeasty and orange citrus notes.

T&M: Very orangy upfront, fades to more earthy hoppyness. Crisp, pale malty finish. High carbonation and on the lower side of the body spectrum.

Overall: Extremely drinkable. Not as good as I remember, but it still much better then the majority of the wheat beer out there.
