A- This beer pours a glowing hazy to the pale orange body with a bubble white head that fades to a ring after a few sips. There is a gentle carbonation that works its way to the surface.

S- The unripe fruity hops blend with some green banana esters and a bread dough note in the finish.

T- The dry green hops have some jammy fruit hints with white bread notes that lead to a dry field corn flavor. The finish is a nice mellow unripe fruit hops flavor that lingers after each sip.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a full crisp fizz in the finish.

O- The great blend of flavors compliment each other with unripe fruit hops and green fruit esters in a very sessionable, drinkable beer.

Firestone Walker's seasonal Solace pours a slightly hazed, honey-orange. An inch of white head sits atop the brew, and it fades away to leave a minimal amount of lacing. Bready malt and wheat notes create a foundation that allows slight citrus and banana aromas to shine. The same pale malt and wheat base underlies subtle hints of banana, pepper, and an earthy yeastiness. A touch of tartness rounds out this easy-drinking, medium bodied "Summertime Fusion Wheat Beer."

Dark straw body with a good amount of haze. On the pour you can make the head as large as you would like but retention is poor and lacing is barely hanging on.

Not much of an aroma, yeasty and slightly musty with Belgian saison spice of coriander and powder. Husky and raw malt aromas come up while hops are light and grassy with a note of lemon zest.

Bready with a lemongrass and wheat twang. Light coriander and powder spice notes. Hops are balancing and grassy. Very crisp but the raw husky taste of the wheat and malt keeps it from being very clean.

Adequate carbonation and a slight bitterness keep the palate scrubbed nicely with lingering grains. Moderate body, heavier than most summer ales.

A hybrid saison and wheat beer, spice notes make it bright and things interesting on an overall average brew. Easy to put down a few.
