A - Looks like a great porter color is a deep black with a 1/2 inch of mocha head and some very nice sticky lacing to boot.
S - Smells of mild smoke and burnt sugars. Maybe some dark plums and a touch of peat. Next to this the typical roasts of coffee and a mild twang of chocolate. Light yet enjoyable.
T - Not sure how people are getting "acidic" taste since this was by far one of the smoothest and creamiest porters I ever had. Flavors are sweet and mild with espresso bean, a touch of vanilla, peat, smoke, and some roast. The hops are not forgotten in the finish giving a mild yet solid bitterness.
M - Smooth and creamy with a medium body. ABV is low so it's easy to session the 22oz bomber.
Overall another great beer from Firestone Walker. I liked this one just as much as their IPA so I can't wait to try their other stuff.
