Poured into a snifter. Pours a deep deep brown. Almost black. Had a nice tan head to start. Dissipated to a ring. Not a lot of lacing.
Aroma is very barley wine ish. Very malty and caramel like. Pretty boozy in the aroma. Bit of dark fruits. Not a crazy aroma.
Taste is awesome. Very barly wine ish. Lots of malt. Bit of sweetness. Kinda caramel and dark fruits. Little bit of boozyness with a bit of hop bite in the finish.
Mouthfeel isn't too thick. Nice and smooth. Good carb.
Overall I think this beer is too green and hot. Would like to see some age on it. Have 2 more to put in the cellar
