Bottle dated 8/9/12 poured into Duvel tulip on 10/22/12.
A: Pours an opaque, jet black with a moderate amount of billowy beige head (3/4 inch)
S: From the pop of the cap, there is a nice aroma. I get roasty malts, and piney hops on this one.
T: More of the roasty, chocolatey malts with a lingering bitterness. Tastes like it was brewed with pine needles, and a presence of cocoa beans.
M: On the lighter side of medium: just thr right amount of carbination. Lighter than expected.
O: The best that i've had in this class so far. Quite enjoyable, especially getting into late fall.
