A light, refreshing blonde ale created for the laid back California lifestyle. Subtle malt sweetness is balanced by a touch of hops creating a versatile beer with a clean finish. 4.7% ABV and available wherever beer is sold if they don't have it, demand it.

On tap at Luke's in Temecula. Pours a pretty copper but that's the best aspect of the beer. High on malt but could use a shot of hops to give it some bite. I should have looked at the BA score first.

Clear wedding band gold with a short but dense and lightly lumpy white foam head.
Cornbread with honey meets a little blonde caramel and very faintly stale graham. A touch of astringency hints in the exhale, but that dissipates quickly.
A mild but firm carbonation comes to a tingly, somehow lightly numbing finish.

12oz bottle at Rockhouse in the Venetian.
Pale gold colored body. Brief white head.
Aroma of light grain and apple fruit.
Taste is lightly toasted grain, with some fruitiness - green apple and a touch of citrus.
Light mouthfeel, with a clean finish. Okay carbonation.
Good lighter and crispy beer to match with food such as burgers and wings.

24 oz can from Winco. Medium golden pour with foamy white head which fades. Grainy aroma and taste, biscuity, clean, flavorful. Lager-ish notes. Crushable.

Bright gold color with a modest white head . The aroma is light caramel, fresh bread with some notes of apple and honey.
The taste is light and clean with fresh bread and apple notes more pronounced, slightly sweet with a dry finish and some herbal hops to balance.
The body is light, moderate carbonation, crisp and easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a light and refreshing brew, light enough for a session or to accompany most foods.

On tap at 1839 Taphouse. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left little to no lacing. It smelled of caramel, bread crust and toffee. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild bitterness.

If you drink it from the bottle it won’t be any good. If you go to the taproom and get a draft it’s much better. Don’t bother with the store bought 6 pack.
