Light straw/yellow brilliant color. Bright white fluffy head with long retention. Fine lacing in the glass.

The nose has a very crisp feel to it. Bright citrus, white flowers, acacia and crackers with soft resin notes in the background.

Very clean on the palate with the resin quality in the beer getting even softer. The cracker, light citrus and white flowers are back. The pilsner feel is strong with the hops taking an interesting counterpoint.

Medium- body with a slightly watery feel. The hops do adds a significant amount of backbone on the back end, boosting the overall feel of the beer.

Really an interesting approach to the style. Not sure that the classic pilsner drinker would appreciate this beer, but a great twist. If you are a hop head and are looking for a great summer alternative that is at the upper end of sessionable, you should give this beer a try.

This brew pours a light golden/straw color which is mostly clear with heavy carbonation and a white, fluffy three finger head which lasts for several minuets. There is moderate lacing on the glass, good for a Pilsner. Some of the head remains until the end.

The smell is musty, straw and wet hay, just like a good Pils should be. There is also a grassy, grainy smell along with the smell of light peppery hops and lemon.

The taste follows the nose with a clean slightly dry taste of straw and lemon along with light peppery hops scattered throughout from beginning to end. There is a crisp, cracker like taste with ending in the cleanest finish I have ever had in a lager. There is also a very slight grassy, gritty taste on the back end, just like a Pils should have, which does not interfere with the clean finish in any way.

Overall, this just might be the perfect example of what a Pilsner should be. It is the best Pils I have had to date.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready malts and noble hops with a little fruit.

The flavor is sweet toasted malts with a good size grassy noble hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a solid hoppy pils.

12 ounce bottle. Bottled on 11/11/13.

Clear medium straw. Near white moderate head. Ample low sheeting and strands of lace.

Brisk and clean hopped up nose.

Crisp, clean and hoppy. Almost puckering. I get some more then moderate lime and pine soaked hops.Enjoyable and worth a try.

I'm definitely more of a fruity IPA kinda guy. But I could see drinking a few more of these.

Appearance: yellow in color, 1/4 inch head, clear, moderate carbonation

Smell: pine and citrus hops

Taste: juicy and citrusy, light pine, grass, and toasted malt

Mouthfeel: medium-light bodied, medium carbonation, sweet start with a slightly bitter end

Overall: Nice and juicy pils. Really well crafted and a pleasant surprise. Had a pint and would definitely go back for more.

Thin, prickly body that wasn't satisfying to drink. Simple pils flavor but lacks the drinkability of a classic example. Also lacks the complexity and full body of a Prima. Overall forgettable, like a generic brewpub blonde. It isn't badly made, but there are a number of other pale lagers I'd go with first.
