Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pub glass.
I've always liked the look of a pilsner and this beer is no exception. It's exceptionally clear, has robust carbonation, and an attractive pale golden/straw color. There's a finger thick head that dissipates into a layer of lace that persists well. This beer could win on looks alone.
As advertised, there's a big hop profile on this. Big in the sense that the beer is exceptionally floral and almost dank. Still, it's also very sweet and biscuit-like, maybe even giving off some granola aroma.
Some new traits make their presence felt on the palate: zest and lemon. There's a light mouthfeel that is refreshing and makes me want to drink more. I don't detect as much sweetness on the tongue, as the beer is dryer and slightly bitter. There's still something biscuity or even cracker-like, and this flavor lingers on the tongue.
I really like this beer. Forget session IPAs, this will do the trick if you want an easy-sipping, yet full-flavored beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet bready malts and noble hops with a little fruit.
The flavor is sweet toasted malts with a good size grassy noble hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a solid hoppy pils.

12 ounce bottle. Bottled on 11/11/13.
Clear medium straw. Near white moderate head. Ample low sheeting and strands of lace.
Brisk and clean hopped up nose.
Crisp, clean and hoppy. Almost puckering. I get some more then moderate lime and pine soaked hops.Enjoyable and worth a try.
I'm definitely more of a fruity IPA kinda guy. But I could see drinking a few more of these.

Appearance: yellow in color, 1/4 inch head, clear, moderate carbonation
Smell: pine and citrus hops
Taste: juicy and citrusy, light pine, grass, and toasted malt
Mouthfeel: medium-light bodied, medium carbonation, sweet start with a slightly bitter end
Overall: Nice and juicy pils. Really well crafted and a pleasant surprise. Had a pint and would definitely go back for more.

Thin, prickly body that wasn't satisfying to drink. Simple pils flavor but lacks the drinkability of a classic example. Also lacks the complexity and full body of a Prima. Overall forgettable, like a generic brewpub blonde. It isn't badly made, but there are a number of other pale lagers I'd go with first.
