Tap at dark Horse Tavern in Southbridge.
Nice creamy 1 finger head fades slowly with decent spotty lacing, eventually becomes soapy lacing all over, crystal clear golden pilsner color.
Nose toasty straw malt, grainy, doughy, mild grassy hops, hint leafy
Taste lots of straw, doughy, grassy, toasty pilsner malts, hint creamy like too. Mild grassy hops again, little grassy and just a hint spicy, mild to fair bitterness, crisp and drinkable. Nice soft lager notes with hint of mineral and fruity lager note. Finish is dry and crisp, soft lager note, mild grassy hops, little leafy and just a hint spicy, touch of straw malt.
Mouth is lighter bod, crisp clean, soft lager, nice carb.
Overall a great pilsner, somewhat Americanized but also a little noble pilsner like, just all around well done.

Dry hopped with saphire bottled on 6/4/14
Pours a pillow topped off white head. Color is a clear straw yellow with active carbonation in the glass. Lots of lace left.
Flavor profile: Dry, grassy hops. Kind of herbal. Bready like a pils should be. Has a light lemon zest citrus flavor. Light fruitiness.
Mouthfeel: Dry and crisp. Clean. Light bodied. Ends dry.
Overall, a pretty decent pils. Seemed to lack on flavor a little bit. I did enjoy it, however.

Pours golden color with very small head and mild lacing. Strong tropical fruit aroma. Malty tropical fruit taste, especially at the end. Mild hops, but cannot discern any bitterness. Aftertaste is fruity. Now this rating is based on a small sample taste at a bar. I would be willing to try a full glass to see if my rating changes. As of now, it is not really what I look for in a beer. I can see the potential for high ratings, though.
