Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark brown color ale with a super large off-white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of dry plums and figs with candi sugar and solid malt. Taste is a well balance mix between a solid malt backbone with dry plums and figs and some residual sugar. Body is quite full with limited filtration and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed though maybe a tad to sweet for my liking.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
Another new beer out of Texas' newest brewpub. This beer is labeled Quad 2. The beer pours dark brown with a tan head out of a caged and corked 750 ml bottle. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and some alcohol. The flavor is more of the same. Chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
