We stayed in Solvang one night during our central coast trip and this was the obvious choice for dinner, first thing I noticed when I walked in was that Double Jack and Abacus were on tap, that won me over right there, place was huge and looked a production brewery on one side even though it is not, probably lmost as big as the actual Paso facility now that I think about it, atmosphere is cool with a big bar area including a dart board, dining area right next to the kitchen, bunch of labeled mugs around which made me think they have some kind of club where the locals get their own glass and have it filled for a discounted rate, place was wide open and clean, one of the nicer dinners I have had in a beer establishment in some time, people working were nice but a little confused when I asked questions, employees seem to be having a good time which is a good thing, other beers available were pretty standard inlcuding pale, double barrel, porter, hefeweizen, hemp ale, etc., my Double Jack came in an oversized wine glass for six dollars and did not have any more than six ounces in it, was not too stoked on that after having full pints of it for a dollar less back home beforehand, food was good but expensive, fried chicken special was seventeen dollars and came with a reasonable amount of mashed potatoes with tasty gravy, small amount of watermelon and corn on the cob, overall it was a fun experience and glad we went, would go back in the future

I would give this a 4.5 -4.75. FW has always impressed me as a well run outfit, having attended several new bottle releases over the past year. I'm not a local boy, so no bias in that regards, they just go bigger and better than most. Plenty of parking on premises, or on the street. Nice check in area and bar area whilst waiting. two separate seated areas, although I've never sat in the area left of the bar/entrance. This area seems more casual than the larger seated area to the right and behind the check-in desk. Small but ample merchandise area incl reg beer offerings. The tasting room has their rarer beer stock. Tasting room is actually divided into two parts, depending on the functions that may be running. High ceiling for affect in the larger restaurant area. The atmosphere in general is always great, load and busy during main meal times. Knowledgeable staff, esp when it comes to the beer, as you would expect. Professional and polite staff. Bathrooms are clean and functional. I like the tasting room here better than stone, just for the privacy, but this does lack outdoor dining options, and given the great weather in the area, not sure why that may be. Classy place overall, in a well-healed area. a must visit if in the area. Hope this helps. Cheers.

The food is above average and though a bit pricey. I haven't had anything bad off of the menu yet. Firestone wine is always a good choice, though they have a good selection of other brands. The beer is always great, of course.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you get your money's worth.

**Barrelworks is an across the board 5.00. My only complaint about it is that I wish they were open more often than a few hours on the weekend.
