32oz Pegs branded swing-top growler poured into a Voodoo snifter. Thanks Ray for the hookup.
A- Pours an opaque dark black, half finger of mocha head forms that recedes decently fast, some spotty lacing.
S- Chocolate fudge, slight bakers chocolate, balanced bourbon, oak, a bit of booze. Not overly aromatic but very pleasant aroma with great balance.
T- Chocolate fudge, smooth milk chocolate, toasted coconut, balanced bourbon, oak, finishes creamy chocolate syrup and chocolate fudge. The chocolate bourbon adds a nice additional chocolate presence to the base beer while still retaining a great balance. Possibly my favorite taste wise of all the Nooners.
M- Creamy, extremely smooth, not much carbonation but fitting for the style.
O- This is probably my favorite offering I've had from Pegs yet, the chocolate bourbon barrels added a nice presence while still retaining an awesome balance. I hope they make this again and glad I was able to get a 32oz growler.

Big thanks to rudzud for sharing this one. RareR DOS was one of my fav beer all time, so hopefully this is close at least.
Pours very little head with little lacing, pitch black beer with long legs on the sides of the glass, swirling adds a nice dark creamy head that fades quickly.
Nose is awesome! Bourbon and vanilla and fudge! Layers of chocolate, dark choc, baker's, cocoa, fudge brownie, semi sweet and some caramelized flavors. Then a hint of booze with a nice barrel character, vanilla city and plenty of coconut to go with it, and the coconut even increases as it goes! Mild nice bourbon barrel as well.
Taste is lots more fudge brownie, but a bit lighter than i expected. Fluffy but not as thick chewy and fudgy as I expected. Some baker's choc, little creamy milk choc and cocoa. Then barrel, vanilla is a plenty again, light coconut and mild bourbon. Then more chocolate, little bitterness with mild earthy hop. Later on the taste a hot bourbon and mild warming booze start to come through. FInish just coats the mouth and never goes away, more coconut, vanilla, and bourbon dark fudge, little bitterness and semi sweet milky chocolate, tasty.
Mouth is med ot heavier bod, not as thick and fudgey as I expected, lighter but decent carb, mild warming booze.
Overall nice, good fudge and chocolate, nice vanilla bourbon and coconut barrel flavors, but a bit too thin overall somehow, although the booze is hidden well. Still a delicious beer, just doesn't live up to the hype as something like RareR DOS.
