On tap at Cycle.

Appearance - Black with a nice mocha head. Lightens as it settles. Khaki collar and nice surface foam. Even some sticky lacing.

Smell - Sweet smelling. Dark chocolate. Coffee malts. A little nutty.

Taste - Dark chocolate. Sweet. Roastiness builds, but culminates to more of that nutty flavor. Some bitterness.

Mouthfeel - The bitterness lingers. Heavy. I'm struggling a little bit.

Overall - Standard imperial stout. Decent flavors, but not enough to justify its size.

Served in a snifter. Fully opaque black. Serbed with a minimal dark tan head. Good retention. Spotty lacing. Aroma is fully roasted malts with notes of chocolate and coffee. Taste is similar. Heavily roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate. Slightly bring bitterness. Lots of residual chocolate. Full bodied. Smooth. Thickish. I nice beer.
