On tap at Cycle. Served in a pint glass.

Appearance - Very hazy and cloudy light orange bodpitcher and vewhite head. Sticky lacing. Great retention.

Smell - Huge citra hop. At least I think it's citra. Some doughy pale malts behind it.

Taste - Incredibly hoppy. Citrus. Very dry. Cracker malt. Hops never subside, but get a bit pithier and very bitter.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Very bitter.

Overall - Impressive. The smell rivals Vermont IPAs. The taste doesn't quite live up, but it's still fantastic.

I haven't had this at Pegs but I've had it many rimes at the downtown St Pete brewery.

This Citra IPA is my favorite beer right now. I make weekly 2 hour round trips to the brewery to keep some crowlers on hand whenever its on tap.

Pours a hazy golden color, with a nice thick head. Beautiful. It just LOOKS juicy.

Aroma is tropical fruit insanity that hits me as I pour it. Mango and pineapple dominate with a bit of sweet/dank earthiness. So juicy and just...inviting.

Taste - WOW. Very smooth and sweet but not overly sweet. Taste SCREAMS of tropical fruit nectar, followed by a bit of musky dankness that compliments the fruit perfectly. Juicy, almost creamy/soft mouth feel with juuuust enough bitterness to keep it honest. Very refreshing. Its hard not to drink this one fast because its so delicious. At 6% ABV its not a powerhouse, but flavor wise it is.

Overall, this beer is just awesome. Cycle knocked this one out of the park. If word gets out about this beer, they will have to start making bigger batches. This beer not only can hang with Toppling Goliath's PseudoSue, it might be better.
