L: Pours a dark brown black with a small tan head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing.

S: Roasted malt, a hint of smoke, sugar and lactose mix with a light coffee.

T: Lighter brewed coffee, mixes with notes of sugar and cream, very reminiscent of coffee with cream and sugar.

F: Slick medium carbonation.

O: This is a very enjoyable ale.

12 oz gusher can, purchased @ Richey's East in Pensacola, FL. Dated 7/13/20, poured into Tallgrass snifter.

Medium brown body with about 10% transparency, with a tall khaki head of 2 fingers. Takes awhile for this carbonation to subside.

Aroma from the can is precisely what the can states. Cream, sugar, and lovely coffee. Aroma from the glass is more metallic than anything, with a bit of chocolate and black malt.

Flavor is a little past its prime, bringing some slight cardboard and then green pepper coffee; then caramel creamer, caramel chews, white sugar, and brown sugar.

Feel is heavily carbonated and medium bodied, a touch lighter than I'd like but this is a porter after all. Mild alcohol heat, and stinging carbonation dancing on the tongue.

Overall, definitely drink this one fresh. I'm not sure what the ceiling is, but I know at 9 months this can is gushing and past its prime.

Price paid : $1.99 / can
Would buy again : if found fresher

Drank this at Cycle Brewing in beautiful
Saint Petersburg Florida.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown with a nice tan foamy head and lacing that dropped to a thin cap.
Smells malty, sweet, coffee and chocolate.
Taste follows the nose with a nice milky flavor.
Mouth feel is medium for the style with a nice milky, sticky feel
Overall one of the best examples of a American coffee porter I've had, a nice cross between a sweet milk and coffee porter and I would definitely order again.

12 oz can with a June 2019 canning date stamp on the bottom (stored cold). Served in a Belgian snifter this poured with a very dark reddish-brown body and a semi-durable off-white head.
Loads of coffee in the nose with a more moderate level in the flavor. Lightly sweet until the mildly bitter coffee flavored aftertaste. There are dark bread notes throughout.
Feel. Smooth, full body.

Overall. Drinks like a well crafted coffee milk stout.

Decent porter...

It was decent, nothing spectacular, but certainly decent. Good looking dark caramel colored brew with reddish highlights. The smell was practically non-existent - no matter how hard I tried I did not get anything out of the beer. The rest of it was, well, like I've already mentioned - decent. Mouthfeel was light on carbonation but watery, the taste was heavy on the black coffee side, and overall I would be okay grabbing for another in the future. It's decent.

Dark brown with light tan head. Big big brown sugar in the nose with some coffee. Flavor is light creamed coffee up front with big brown sugar through through the mid and aftertaste. Some milk chocolate too. Quite sweet with a medium mouthfeel

Dark brown, translucent, Head completely dissipates right away; Smells coffee-ish; Smooth, lightly carbonated, but not almost flat like some stouts; Flavor is pleasant. I'd like more head, and more carbonation. I like my coffee black, no cream and sugar, thank you.
