An evolution of the 'single hop' phenomenon. While Galaxy is featured on the label, the concept here is to showcase this headliner in it's greatest form possible, and if you ask me every hop is better when supported by others. So accents of Centennial & Sterling to widen the frequency and crank up the volume of bright tangerine, grapefruit, and fresh grass.

12 oz single. Purchased from Lifesource in Salem Oregon. $2.35 Says dry hopped pilsner..so I am going to rate it as a pils not a "premium" lager. Pours a pale yet vibrant yellow..slightly hazy with a large thick and creamy white head. Aromas of lemon bars and cream, slight pepper and some orange peel. Taste similar with the lemon bar coming through strong, there are slightly less fruity hop notes in the end and even maybe a touch of grass. Mouth-feel is pretty nice its lowish in carbonation for the style but very smooth and easy. . But its a fine summer beer.

Hazy straw gold with one finger of white head that lasts about ten minutes.
Smell is floral and malty.
Taste is slightly hop forward with a touch of lemon zest. Malt level is fine for the style.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is dry and lightly bitter.
Overall a tasty beer that I suspect is quite old. The numbers on the bottle neck are 029:15 and 16:50.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pilsner glass. Had a golden yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was an inch and a half of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Excellent lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of malt, light hops, citrus, and an earthy quality. More malt than anything.
T: Tasted of hops (but not too much), light citrus notes (grapefruit, especially), a little hint of pine, a some grain, and a good amount of malt. A surprisingly complex flavor for the style. Very balanced, light and refreshing.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Light-bodied.
O: The American Pale Lager is not my favorite style, but Mono is certainly one of the better examples of it. Well worth trying.

On tap at Rattle Hum, NYC. Nice clear golden color, light head & very little lacing. A touch of hops was a surprise, butnot unpleasant (not a big fan of big hops).
Glad I tried it, but ready to move on. 40 taps & so lttle time.
