750ml bottle into Bruery tulip. Big thanks to Matt (drabmuh) for this; I've been looking forward to trying some Stillwater beers for quite awhile.
Pours a warm, cloudy, glowing pale gold-orange - beautiful color. Fat 4-finger fluffy off-white head with a bit of delicate lacing and decent retention. Settles into a long-lasting one-finger cap.
Nose is nice and complex - peppery up front, with some orangey citrus notes, almost a pineapple-orange flavor. There's a light musty farmhouse dankness on top.
Taste is beautiful also - nice mix up front of some nice orangey citrus and just a bit of rich yeastiness, tangy with a bit of a peppery bitterness coming through on the finish. Beautifully floral. Great balance between complexity and just sheer deliciousness. Very nice beer.
Mouthfeel is smooth, beautiful crispness to the still-delicate carbonation. Medium-full body, lush and very nicely done.
Nicely drinkable. Beautiful balance between complexity and just sheer beautiful taste. Very well crafted beer, can't wait to try more from Stillwater.

Light straw, clumpy lace. Nose and taste are lemons, zest, cloves, spice. Nose is a lot less than taste tho.. Full bodied and in your face from first sip, as is Stillwater's wont, tho the taste does feel somewhat over spiced thus disconnected. Almost like a favour had been added too late. Dry finish and zesty palate
Good drinking tho.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a tulip
A - Slightly hazy burnt orange/amber body with plenty of bubbles racing to the top. 2-finger pure white head that retains for the entire experience; literally never fades. The carbonation just keep building that head back up. Beautiful lacing. One of the more pleasing beers to look at.
S - A very good balance of yeast, hops, and sweetness. I love the saison yeast in the nose which is followed by mild citrus peel and just a very light touch of flowery hops.
T&M - Lively carbonation makes this a drier beer, but not nearly as dry as champagne. Still retains a nice thirst-quenching character. I really like the balance of yeast and hops in this beer. A hoppier saison for sure but the yeast keeps telling you it's a Belgian-style saison. Hops give a citrus peel bitterness likened to kumquat and lemon peel. A small dose of candy sugar and malts sweetens things up just a bit.
O - I really liked this and could definitely down a few of these. Saison-dry while remaining refreshing. Great flavors throughout the experience.
