Poured from a 12oz standard pressure-cap bottle into a tulip glass in high elevation Kalispell, Mont. Reviewed live. I'm honestly impressed I was able to get this beer from Maryland here. To be fair though, I think it is Portland spoils.
A- Two-finger frothy white head with minute-long retention. Cloudy orange body with fairly low clarity.
S- Farmhouse yeasts, citrus, lemons. Aromatic and very typical of the style. Nice smelling beer.
T- Citrusy with lemons and oranges. Earthy yeasts. Great flavored saison.
M- Light bodied, subtle carbonation and well balanced.
O- Well above average beer. Enjoyable all-around.

330 ml bottle, cloudy golden colour with really good lacing. Smell has some apricot and a full fruity yeast aroma, banana, hay and pale malt, sweet a bit with also a ton of complexity. Taste is got a hefty carbonation with some banana and grape flavours, some cinnamon and bready malts, some peach and slight barny flavours, a bit of a hay overload before coming to a full finish with a bit of a high hop bitterness, finish then dries out. A ballsy full flavoured saison, some of the alcohol comes through and eventually it become apparent this is not up to the highest standards despite a full flavour. Pretty solidly built saison though, lot of flavour and good stylistically, perhaps my criticisms were a bit too harsh as it's quite tasty.

Light straw, clumpy lace. Nose and taste are lemons, zest, cloves, spice. Nose is a lot less than taste tho.. Full bodied and in your face from first sip, as is Stillwater's wont, tho the taste does feel somewhat over spiced thus disconnected. Almost like a favour had been added too late. Dry finish and zesty palate
Good drinking tho.
