a: Bright, clear golden color; pours with a small, short lived fizzy head.

s: Tart apple and pear with some citrus, minerals, and lightly sweet grains. Plenty of semi-funky saison yeast

t: Dry overall, which suits me just fine. Less apple and pear with minerals than in the nose . Some pithy citrus and classic saison yeast character. Lingering pepper.

m: Light and airy.

o: Really nice saison, but not quite up there with my favorite domestic examples of the style.

A: A clear pale gold colour with 3 fingers of slightly off-white head. Head quickly dissipates leaving a faint rim of lacing along the sides of the glass.

S: Extreamly floral scents of orange flower water with notes of wet wood, earth and leather in the background. Noticeable vegatative scents, possibly squash, on the finish.

T: The taste mirrors the scent with a floral notes upfront together with vegatative and citrus aspects and sweet malts. Slight funkiness comes through as it warms.

M: Medium bodied and crisp with a high carbonation.

O: Unique floralness together with sweet malts and citrus notes - this beer is not a typical saison but is very enjoyable nonetheless.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a poco grande glass. Really liking the label graphics. Bottle on 09/14/13.

A-Frothy white 1 finger head hazy golden orange body, some sediment in the bottom of the glass.

S-Typical farmhouse funky aromas. Some lemon. Bitter spice smells.

T-Funky yeast, lemon pith. Dry finish with a nice carbonation all the way through to the end. Can keep going back for more and more.

O-A decent beer which would be perfect on a hot summer day.
