On cask at Max's. Poured into a pint glass.

Pours a super cloudy pineapple color with a nice white head. Good amount of clingy lacing. Nose brings forward a good amount of tropical hops and pineapple along with a dose of Belgian yeast. Taste is fairly tropical with some sweet, citrus notes and a bit of earthy goodness. Feel is light to medium with moderate carbonation and a bit of thickness. Drinks quite well and is a nice version of the beer.

On the hand pump at hulmeville inn.

A- comes to me with two inches of creamy white head that vanishes to a few wisps and some rings of lace. Hazy orange yellow in color that just glows beautifully.

S- big floral notes with some spicy fruity yeast and toasted oak.

T- this is where this stuff shines. Tons of floral and fruity yeast and a huge pile of wood. The wood is never overbearing but covers the flavor profile. Spicy and sweet hits here and there like solos in a bad ass jam. Lemon juice and other citrus whot some warming.

M- medium body and low carb. Hugh tannic quality that leaves a massive driness. You can feel the wood on your tongue and its awesome.

D- oaky and complex but if your ready for it take the hand pump plunge. Baller as all hell.

This beer is served on cask at a beer dinner with Brian from Stillwater. This beer looks like grapefruit juice. Its completely hazy and appears thin in the glass. No head, no lacing, no noticable carbonation, appears flat. I guess that's a cask for you.

Aroma is quite lemony, some citrus, smells pretty good. Very bright.

This beer is not as citrusy as I was expecting from the description the brewer gave. It was good. Very smooth. No carbonation in the mouth. Tannic character minimal. Beer is overall thin in body but somehow pretty creamy and smooth. Its pretty good. I can't honestly say I prefer it to the draft version but I know why it exists.

Out of a firkin at Max's.

The beer pours a hazy honey gold color with good head retention and decent lacing. The nose is definitely "wheaty," but with a hint of vanilla and orange citrus as well. The beer smells pretty good, but on the palate, this is flat out delicious. The beer starts out moderately sweet, but then the spice and hoppy bitterness step up to the plate. It really blends well with the honey flavor, imparting an up front fruit flavor of orange, cherry and melon. This is really a tasty beer. Mouthfeel is soft and pretty long, and there's a roundness to the flavor profile that I really like. Drinkability is quite good, with the alcohol well integrated in this beer.

Liked this one quite a bit. Yummy!
