Hazy medium straw color with orange and copper hues. Pillowy off-white 2-finger head with medium retention.
Clean nose that still has a strong sense of carbonation even after the beer has sat in the glass fior a few minutes. Orange zest, coriander, lemon zest, light grains, lemon zest.
The palate has a wonderful density: rich lightly roasted malt, roasted hazelnuts, cashews, lemon peel, coriander, white pepper. Just enough bitterness to balance any sweetness from the malt.
Medium+ bodied, with a warm richness and a very mild warmth from the alcohol. Very slight wateriness on the finish. Bitterness becomes a little more exposed in the aftertaste, but is not at all unpleasant.
Very enjoyable. Carbonation softens a little on the palate. Five minutes in the glass before starting on this beer helps.

The beer comes in a beautiful honey amber color. Bright and rich and vibrant. A sexy brew.
The aroma has honey, light caramel, light brown sugar, very floral and sweet floral honey.
The flavor is driven by malt with some spice in the front. Caramel sweetness, a bit sugary quality on the mid palate. Some drying of floral and herbs. A rich honey on the back end.
Light mouthfeel. The appearance and aroma sold me, but the flavor was a bit disappointing, though as it warms up, the flavor slightly comes through more.

A collaboration with The Brewer’s Art. A Baltimore institution that helped to pioneer the Belgian beer movement in the States. Brewed with a combination of Spelt & Rye, accented with a blend of Heather, Honeysuckle, and Hyssop. The result is a rustic farmhouse ale displaying earthy tones & floral characteristics while maintaining intricate balance.
Lovely stuff.I like everything about this. try it if you can.
