On tap at Max's.
Pours a slightly hazy golden with small white foam head. Bitter almost spoiled? aroma, not very pleasant. Taste is descent. Citrus, hops, pepper are pretty obvious. Its an easy drink but not as good as I hoped. While an ok brew, not sure if I'd get again.

On cask at Max's today.

The beer pours a somewhat hazy, yellow gold color with good head retention and considerable lacing. This beer looks just lovely sitting in my imperial pint glass. The nose is every bit as good, showcasing considerable orange citrus, light leafy green tobacco, white pepper and a hint of honey. The flavor profile is equally impressive, though not what I was expecting in a fresh hop saison I guess. There's some modest sweetness, and I get plenty of orange citrus, along with some light honey. There's a touch of clove on the finish as well, and ultimately the finish on this beer is fairly dry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, but with a light, creamy finish that is pretty easy to take. The beer is otherwise fairly soft and creamy on the palate, and the alcohol is barely discernable.

A very easy to enjoy and appreciate beer from stillwater.

Beer isn't as aggressive as the double hopped version but it is quite good.

Beer is yellow witha mild haze, soft white head, small and medium bubbles, low retention, some lacing, low carbonation.

Aroma is sweet, fruits, pineapple mango, smells really good.

Beer is light in body, earthy, yeasty, mildly dry but not very bitter finish. A good variant but not my favorite out the three I tried.

On cask at Max's during the Stillwater event for Baltimore Beer Week. Reviewed from notes.

Pours a nice, slightly-hazed golden color with a huge white head. Loads of foam and plenty of sticky lacing. The nose carries some bright Citra hops as well as light grass and saison yeast. Faint cedar and wood. Really well integrated. Citra explosion in the flavor; the cedar is a really nice complement. Light body with good carbonation. A bit of bitterness and beautiful saison dryness. All extremely well integrated. Fantastic.

I had this on cask at Max's during Baltimore Beer Week. Served in a sample glass.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy orangish yellow with a layer of white head that disappears quickly.

Smell: Sweet with strong, citrus hops. Very earthy and grassy.

Taste: Similar to the smell. Fresh citrus hops. Spice from the yeast with a light malt sweetness. The finish is bitter and a bit peppery.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with mild, tingly carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall: Quite easy to drink. I enjoyed the way the hops mixed with the spice from the yeast.
