Stubby 11.2 oz bottle purchased at Max's on Stillwater Sunday event of BBW. Served in a Stillwater wine glass.

Pours a light, clear/hazed golden color with a frothy, retentive white head. Nose of corn, amber malt, soap, light spice, butter, and fruit. Flavor has held up better than the nose, somewhat resembles a saison with an earthy and yeasty saison taste throughout with nearly all traces of Olde Bay spice vanished. Lemon and grass, light pepper and some vegetable like stalk chewiness. Fresh this was a lot more interesting and enjoyable (this is not a surprise). If you still have a bottle... go Maryland! (?).

Poured from a bottle into a Colossus snifter.

Appearance: Pours a mostly clear golden/light amber. There is a several finger layer of fluffy cloud like head. The head is quire foamy, large bubbles. The head fades to a layer on top of the pour.

Smell: Light and crisp. Full of herbal and spice notes. Some citrus at the end.

Taste: Herbal and malty. Some alcohol and bitterness in the finish. There may be a slightly spicy note from the olde bay, but not a whole lot.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with too much carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall: This was a nice idea, but the Olde Bay didn't a a whole lot. A decent Saison, but nothing I'm too depressed about not coming back.

Bottle picked up at Max's 2011 Baltimore Beer Week Stillwater event. Served in a Mikasa tulip. Reviewed from notes.

Pours a nice golden-copper color with a good white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose carries some light pepper and spice plus a mild fruitiness. A bit of grain as well. The flavor has some spice, though nothing that is easily identifiable as Olde Bay seasoning. Touch of fruit. Light body with some spritzy carbonation and a nice dry spice to the finish. Quite tasty.

Thanks for this one, Thorpe.

Pours a pale straw color with a tall white head. There is a nice spice and herbal aroma to the beer along with a subtle funkiness and a touch of fruit. Lots of yeast and grass aromas with a solid pale/cracker malt base. The flavor is lightly sweet with bread and cracker malt flavors. Lots of spice and yeast flavors with a subtle fruitiness.

Bottle picked up at Max's but this particular review comes from a bottle opened by Thorpe429, thanks dude. Poured into a tiny ticking snifter for ticking.

Beer is a dark yellow / amber with haze, wispy soft white head of small bubbles, some lacing, low carbonation, looks like a saison to me.

Aroma is mildly spicy with a little yeast and some mild bitters.

Beer is light in body, dances on the palate, mild fruit, some bitterness from the grains at the backend. Mild peppery but I don't taste "olde bay" seasoning, I imagine it was used sparingly, a fun little bottle. I'd have it again, looking forward to drinking my bottle in the future.

The beer is very pale yellow with a half inch of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. The aroma brings some yeast, coriander, spice, floral notes. Seasoning comes through more in the flavor than the aroma. Well done. Tasty and enjoyable. Exceeded my expectations.
