Picked this up for $2.89 at vintage estate. Into a pint glass.
A - Ow dear big chunk floaties I didn't expect it to be that old. Still a rocking full inch of foam and a rather hazy bright yellow. I may have just had to watch my pour.
S - Wow is that juicy crisp ripe pear, citrus squeeze, and other fruity yeasts with just a delightful malt profile.
T - Very smooth fruity yeasts again pear is present and bubble gum chew with orange husk. Has a smooth grain tone to it keeping if from getting too sweet. Enjoyable.
M - I love big balanced beers and this one is no exception a very smooth flavorful experience with no ABV burn. Medium bodied at most.

Overall another beer I found which I was hesitant of the price but am very impressed with. I would go back and pick up the rest of their beers.

A: Pours a pale lemon colour with plenty of big puffy head which lingers and clings to the sides of the glass. Suspended sediment throughout.

S: Initial sweet scents of overripe bananas together with white pepper, cloves and candied citrus peels of lemon and orange. Background floral notes abound.

T: Sweet pale malts and yeasty bread followed by tart, crisp pears.

M: Medium bodied with a clean and crisp finish.

O: Clean and crisp with balanced sweetness. Definitely worth trying.

12 oz bottle served slightly chilled into a tulip. Bottled on date 7/29/13.

As Follows is a very pale golden yellow with tiny bits of yeast floating in suspension. The head is thick and white but settles to a skim layer after a couple of minutes.

Aroma is mildly funky with a pleasant Belgian yeast character. It has lemon and spice notes.

Flavor is well balanced with Pilsner malt, phenol spice, yeast, and bright citrus. It is deceptively strong at nine percent.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated as a bottle conditioned Belgian strong ale should be.

Overall a very solid Belgian pale from Maryland. Glad to have these guys in Colorado.
