Pours quite bright light golden color. Still a bit awestruck by the luminosity. Modest white head. Nose had significant brett/barnyard, stinky cheeses. Big funky nose. More tame on the palate though some herbal notes, light malt, medium body, and easy drinkability. Good carbonation too. Finish has plenty of ripe barnyard. Going to need a breath mint after this one, I'm guessing.

A: Pours a mostly clear medium straw yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and some faint hints of pale golden yellow highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a couple of small to medium sized two finger thick caps surrounded by a thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a very thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of pale malts, Belgian yeast, lemon citrus, and floral hops all under the moderate to strong funky barnyard aroma of Brett.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of pale malts and lemon citrus which gives it just a hint of tartness and sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of Belgian yeast which adds a spicy characteristic to the beer and a light to moderate flavor of floral hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades quickly. There is a slightly stronger than moderate flavor of slightly sour funkiness and hay from the Brett which lingers for quite a while.

M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink and enjoyable with the Brett really adding to the complexity of the aromas/flavors to the beer. Definitely an enjoyable brew worth grabbing, as have all the beers in this series that I have tried. Brett is showcased in this brew.

The beer comes in a hazy yellow color with a fluffy white head.

The aroma has a decent funk, light bready malt, citrus.

The flavor follows with a good amount of citrus peel, a light bready malt, a funky quality in there along with a bit of spicy yeast onto a light herbal hops on the back.

A really delicious brew at its ABV. I would drink this consistently. There's a good balance hints of funk, fruit, drying, spice, and hops.

Hazy yellow color with a nice, fluffy head of sticky cream. Aroma brings the Brett funk right away...floral, leathery, and hay-like with a fresh earthy herbalness over some dough. Things get more perfumy as it warms up with fresh flowers, lime, and grapefruit peel. Funky Brett and yeast are upfront in the flavor as well, getting bitter and finishing crisp. Dusty lemon, dry flower petals, citrus rind, and peppery grassiness. Super dry, light, and fluffy. Aggressive for its strength, but not in an unpleasant way.

Hazy cloudy gold, bright tangerine yellow beer under a nice densly foamy white head. Lace is shifty and clumping. Aroma is juicy tangy citrus, orange and grapefruit juice with a chewy bready backing, Sweet spice and Thanksgiving aromas woeked in as well. Taste begins even, surges into sour, and then turns to dry and smacky. Chalky powdery texture beyond the finish. Kind of cake-like as well. Tart flowery, citrus juice and rindiness. Lemon, sugar cookie, tart and sweet. Dry and implosive.... Occasaional bits of something whacky and indeterminate sneeks its way in.

I like this a lot.

Briefly...

A truly massive beer for the ABV. A very funky, zesty, tart, barnyard, experience, with tons of spicy clove notes, all wrapped up in such a low ABV... It's almost as tho flavour additives have been added late in the piece but that would be doing it a disservice.

A very well made beer that you could drink all night, although the strong flavour and price point almost stop that idea...
