Pours a nice shiny filtered lemon colour. Good head/lacing.

Nose is light banana phenols, lemon sherbet, subtle bite of pine and a little pear.

Taste is lemon, bit of pear, bit of the banana phenols. Strong and persistent bitterness in the finish.

Mouthfeel is a lot about a mineral-y pear character. Decent body for the ABV and competitive carbonation.

Very solid "table" beer. Hop character evoked Sorachi Ace for me, and there's enough evidence Sorachi Ace works well with farmhouse beers by now.

Pleasantly surprised to have found the ideal warm weather beer (in theory) for me. A sessionable saison in six packs of cans? Shit. High expectations going in, within reason. I was hoping for something better than Victory Swing but obviously not DuPont.

A: Hard to say because I drank from the can, but cloudy for sure which is one of my biggest gripes with Victory Swing. An unfiltered saison to me feels like heresy.

S: Yeasty, spicy, and fruity. Smells real good.

T: Reminds me of Victory Swing to an extent BUT slightly more balanced and nuanced, but still very clove/pepper heavy with some nice Belgian character.

M: This is what, in my opinion, makes this beer so great. Despite it being what I'd consider a session saison, the mouthfeel and carbonation are spot on and it's tough to tell you're drinking something under 5%. Awesome

O: Coming into this with high expectations, I must say I'm impressed overall. For a $11 sixer, I need good reason to buy something like that frequently and, honestly, I can see myself buying this very frequently as summer approaches. Highly recommended.

12oz can picked up at the COOP a month back.. pours clear straw golden.. white head with flecks in the pillow.

Big phenolic bubblegum and minor clove and peppercorn.. white wheat.. green apple esters.

Flavor is nicely done with the lower ABV... clovey phenols and grassy/lemon hops mesh a fermented out pale malt essence..

big carbonation.. still pretty drinkable... The low ABV is special, I would like to see this more often in the coolers.

Pours yellow with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows some Belgian yeast, some farmhouse funky notes, soft vegetal hints and banana.
Some of the Belgian and farmhouse notes remain as flavours along with a corn note and apple characters.
Carbonation is a bit excessive.
