Appearance: The clear copper colored liquid arrives with a nice cap that leaves a decent amount of lacing behind
Smell: Bread and vanilla, with peach and papaya undertones
Taste: Bready, up front, with vanilla, peach and papaya flavors building into the middle, where a hint of pith arrives to offset the sweetness; after the swallow, the yeast brings a bit of pepper and spice and the Brett adds a subtle funky tone in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderat carbonation
Overall: Though this was advertised as a Brett beer, I had to ask the bartender whether I might have been served something else by mistake; tasting more like a lower ABV Belgian Strong, it was very hard to discern the Brett influence; plenty of complexity but I was having a hard time wrapping my brain around what the brewers were intending to produce
