Pours very clear, redish-pink with a small, white head.

Smells of funk, raspberry, cherry, oak, and lemon. The oak also brings along white wine aromas.

Intensely sour. Funk up first, but lots of fruit comes in to balance it out. It’s very impressive how well balanced the cherries and raspberries are; both are very much present without dominating. Lemon, oak, and pepper flavors also add some interesting characteristics.

The beer has a nice mouthfeel with a fairly dry finish. The carbonation is very nice and overall each sip leaves you wanting more.

This is definitely a top notch beer. The balance of the fruit and sour flavors is very impressive, but other than that, not too much beyond what you’d expect.

Dark raspberry red, with a fizzy head that billows and dissipates quickly. The head appears as a very smooth carbonation in a light ring around the edges of the glass.

The aroma begins with a very medicinal cherry/raspberry, blended with a lot of earthy/mineral notes, and a strong amount of oak. Funk is present throughout, though seems to play a little bit more in the background due to the strength of the other aromas.

Taste begins funky, and sour, as it moves toward tart and sweet with a big burst of juicy cherries and raspberries. Backed by earthy mineral flavours, the finish is balanced by very well-blended oak and funk.

Great feel. Not too light or heavy, with a very smooth carb.

Overall a great lambic, apart from the slight medicinal notes in the fruit (although this comes out more in the aroma than the taste).
