A: Like melted down gold coins or some kind of magic potion. There is a little thin rim of foam around the edge; the whole thing looks wicked awesome. It also looks like it's going to give me the Midas Touch or turn me into a frog, it's so golden.
S: Smells primarily like green apple peelings, or the lemon/apple mixture that makes an apple pie. It's not a sweet smell, and isn't too strong. There is also a teeny wiff of hemp, probably coming from the oaking.
T: The initial taste is insanely tart, with no notes of honey or dark fruit like any other sours. The finish is similar to the smell; like a Granny Smith apple rolled in lemon juice. Or like one of those green Warheads. And this might sound a little kooky, but I get a hint of a floral like jasmine. Or orange blossom. The finish is tart and yum.
M: Fizzy, light, and pucker-your-lips sour.
O: This is a magical fairy tale beer of awesome. It's part Rumplestiltskin gold and part Snow White apple, and it turned me into a newt. The sour is nice and tart like I enjoy, without tasting like "bile," and the sour apple taste is really refreshing. Yummers.
