Bottle part of a private import
Appearance - Gold colour with an average size white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 4-5 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Breads/grains, lemons, apples, grapefruit
Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste breads/grains, a dry yeasty flavour, tart lemons, and grapefruit zest. It ends with sort of stale barnyard type of dryness/flavour.
Overall - Super refreshing and a lot of citrus sourness going on. Not as much lactic flavour as some of the other in the style and there is a lot of vibrant citric acid. A beer worthy of its acclaim.

Corked and caged 375mL bottle from Khourey's (Las Vegas, NV). 16.99. Bottled 12/05/12. Served in a Barrel and Barley teku.
Pours a murky gold with almost four fingers of bubbly white head. The foam fades rather quickly without leaving any lace.
Smells of apple cider vinegar, tart fruits, a vague hint of sugar and a good bit of funk.
Tastes of hay, vinegar, near puckering lemon, granny smith apple skins, wine, old sugar, oak and earthy funk. Plenty sour but with a nice depth of flavor.
Light body with crisp carbonation. Dry, musty, tangy finish with tart citrus, herbal grassyness, mild toasted oak.
A dry, crisp, complex, easy drinking beer for sure. A tad pricey but still a worthy purchase.
