375ml bottle with yellow label; says "2012, dec 5th". Tasted 1 October 2013.

Pours clear golden yellow, a touch of orange to it. Two fingers of white head, more than I find typical for a sour. Better retention, too. And there's a broad column of bubbles rising up through the glass.

Smell is incredible. Funky and sour, with so much depth and complexity, yet surprisingly clean. How all those characteristics can be found together I find hard to understand, but there they are, and they fit together like perfectly cut puzzle pieces. Wow. I'm just going to drink this in with my nose for a while...

Taste is, frankly, a bit too sour for me. It's potent, but a so strong that I literally feel like the enamel is being dissolved off my teeth. Is this beer, or an acid bath? I suppose it is what it's supposed to be, and there's a lot there behind that first powerful wave of sour. Funk, earth, and a fruity dance number. I dig this, but I could dig it a whole lot more if I didn't have to close my eyes and fight through the acid to find the other flavors.

Feel is delicate and delightful. Light-bodied, medium-high carbonation, and an acidic streak that really dominates the feel. Wow again.

An outstanding gueuze. I just wish it were a bit gentler.

Bottled 12/12

A looks like an IPA. Cloudy dark orange almost bronze. Nice head retention lots of tiny bubbles. Looks pretty good.

S fragrant. Smells like funky champagne. White grapes maybe with some sweetness in the way back

T tart dry champagne type flavor right at the front followed by more very tart lemon juice flavors in the middle then some mellow soft sweetness on the back end

M A touch fizzy for me, but very nice. Definitely complements the flavors and improved the already enjoyable experience

O this is a tart beer. The sweetness on the back really made this beer for me. The tart flavors were enjoyable but the sweet finish helped to balance it out nicely.
