Bought in march 2014 at Systembolaget, Sweden. Bottled nov 15 - 2012. Best before nov 15 2022.

Pours a little hazy, light-yellow with a fizzy, white head. Almoust like champagne.

Nose: Sour, green apples, hay, spices, oak, green grapes and citrus.

Taste: Sour up front. Apples, grapes, citrus, pears, oak and some vanilla.
Dry and clean!

Medium body with a great texture. Moderate carbonation.

GREAT!

A: Full gold, clear, with a loud and fizzy white head. The cork shot off this bottle as soon as I was removing the cage! Almost dropped the bottle as a result!

S: Rotten wood and nectarines. In a good way of course.

T: Gentle, fresh acidity - like tart, underripe fruit. I'm particularly thinking tart blackberries here, you know, the ones that aren't totally black yet. There is a good oak presence and dry, woody finish.

M: Fizzy and drying, very agile.

O: Gosh, do I enjoy this more than Cantillon gueuze? I think I might.

Pounded light orange with a big bubbly white three finger head that lingers for quite a while. Smell is funky, barnyard, some lemon, earthy. Taste starts with a nice citrus note, sour up front that fades to some slight sweetness, dry, dirty, some apple, some vedgtable notes, oak. This is fantastic, lot of carbonation but still great texture, just the right amount of funk and sourness. I can see why this is a gold standard.
