I meant to hold on to this longer, but after seeing the reviews and forum posts I couldn't resist. Popped with jamie2dope, poured from the 750mL into Pretty Things wide chalices.
A - Medium amber, a little cloudy. Pours with some head that fades quickly to lace.
S - Acidic, wonderful complex funk. Slight cheese, apples, pears.
T - Slightly more sour than I expected from gueze, but the balance is amazing. Cheese from aroma is gone, apples come through with some cherries and apricot, and a little grass/earth. Complex funk in the background.
M - Bright, lively carbonation. No complaints. Dry.
O - I want more of this. There is nothing I can think of that I would consider changing. This gueze is sour, complex, and balanced. It may be the best sour beer I've ever been lucky enough to try. I can't want for the next three in the series.

750ml bottle with foil and C&C. Poured into a Cantillon stemmed glass 5/19/2014.
A- hazy brown-orange body, much like a lighter apple cider. Effervescent two finger white head with great retention, nice film and some lacing.
S- Very intense, funk-forward nose. Peppercorns, lemon rind, grape skin, musty hay, leather, tangerines, lactic acid. So much going on. Impressive.
F- Bold and aggressive. Citrus, lemon zest, apple skin, musty hay, black pepper, lots and lots of funk that dominates the palate. Just enough yogurt lacto in the dregs to make me smile. A vinous finish reminds me of a nice champagne.
M- Medium bodied, perfectly carbonated and not too fizzy; nicely effervescent and drinks with a real pop! Funky, musty and lemony finish.
O- I see why many argue that this is the best of the 4. I liked Zomer's subtlety that didn't sacrifice much intensity, but this is right in your face intense and incredibly complex. A lambic for the ages.
